There was a stairwell going from the first floor up to the fourth floor that contained 235 steps. Also, there was a large cargo elevator which traveled so slowly that we seldom used it.
Since the transmitter had equipment on the first, second and fourth floor, it was not unusual for a transmitter tech to go up and down all 235 steps several times a week. By the time we shut down, most transmitter personnel could run up all 235 steps without stopping -- maybe just a little winded.
