Training for all Safeguard MOS's (Military Occupational Specialties) was provided at a central training facility located at Ft. Bliss, Texas. Home to the Army's Air Defense Artillery School, Ft. Bliss has a long tradition of training air defense personnel. As of 2004, the Spartan and Sprint launch training stations are still in place.
