MSR Missile Support Areas
Both Spartan and Sprint missile launchers were located at the MSR complex. Additional Sprint launchers were
located at the four remote Sprint launch sites (RSL's). The major missile support facilities at the MSR
complex included the missile fields themselves, the universal missile building for preparation and
maintenance of Sprint and Spartan, and the warhead handling building where the nuclear munitions were stored and
prepared for deployment in the missiles.
