  • Does anyone know what facilities other than the launch training area were part of the Safeguard training complex (classroom space, etc.)

  • The buildings in the background are now part of the 6th ADA Brigade motor pool. Does anyone know if any of these buildings were originally part of the training complex (classroom space, etc.)?

  • It provided a more comfortable environment while training in the underground MEEV (mechanical, electrical equipment vault) and LPEV (launch preparation equipment vault). (?)
  • In the background are (left) the LAA (launch area antenna) and (center) personnel access hatch.

  • These dummy launch stations provided the same maneuverability requirements needed in the tactical launch areas when using missile transporters to install missiles in the launch cells. (?)
