From John Armour, 10 May 2004, New Caney, TX: I served at the MSR site from Oct 1974 to Sep 1975. I was a sergeant at the time and served in several leadership positions. One was the SOCC operator, which was in the base of the MSR, and I had monitors that I could watch activies around the complex with video camera stations in various locations. I also trained the RF force which most police departments call their SWAT. I arrived at the MSR as the SOCC electronics were still being installed, and learned first hand how to maintain them and their functions.
